Yang Tzu-Lai is a graduate of the Tainan University of the Arts Department of Art History. He has won a Taiwan Excellent Journalism Award, a Vivian Wu Journalism Award, a SOPA Award for Excellence in Photography, and Best News Photo of the Year in the Taiwan Press Photographer Association’s annual photo contest.
