Born in Taichung in 1985, Ho Ching-Yao graduated in foreign languages from National Taiwan University and is a PhD graduate in Taiwanese Literature at National Tsing Hua University. He is currently collecting and editing a collection of Taiwanese literature of the uncanny alongside his own creative writing. He has won numerous literary prizes, including the Global Youth Chinese Literary Award and the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan’s Young Talent Award.
