An Associate Curator at the National Museum of Taiwan History, Shih Wen-Cheng earned his PhD in history from National Cheng Kung University. He believes that the purpose of historical museums is to bridge the gap between past and present. Thus, within these books, he hopes to do more than simply write down the story of history. Instead, he strives to maximize the impact and benefit that readers can derive from the museum’s collections.
