Ping Lu is a fiction writer and syndicated columnist who has firmly established herself as a prominent voice of social criticism in Taiwan. She is known for her critical assessments of well-known characters from history, which push readers to understand those characters in a new and more nuanced light. Her best-known novels include Love and Revolution, the story of Sun Yat-Sen’s late romance with Song Ching-Ling, and The Story of Teresa, about the famous pop singer Teresa Teng.
