Liu Bor-Leh grew up in Taiwan’s central mountains, surrounded by the natural wonders that have gone on to inspire his writing and stunningly intricate illustrations. Liu graduated in art, before going on to work in the Department of Education as an editor and illustrator. His drawings have been exhibited in Europe and he has won several of Taiwan’s most prestigious prizes, including the China Times Open Book Award and Feng Zikai Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award.
